CATALYST ACTIVATOR SYSTEMS

Background

The process involves the polymerization of ethylene to linear polyethylene using chromium catalysts (Phillips catalysts) supported on silica. Chromium catalysts are the most widely used catalyst in the manufacturing of  high density polyethylene (HDPE).  The process is owned and licensed by Chevron Phillips Chemical Company.

Our experts at Solusions have been heavily involved in over twenty (20) systems deployed globally over the past thirty (30) years. As key ex-Bigelow-Liptak employees, we maintain a passion for the technology and have forged a strategic technical partnership with Bigelow-Liptak of Canada. Our engagement spans from feasibility studies and front-end engineering design (FEED) to detailed design, manufacturing, and full commissioning for both greenfield and brownfield projects.

Our team is well-versed in process engineering, possessing in-depth and proven knowledge across all system elements, including fluidization and fluid beds, heat transfer, process controls, piping systems.  Our team of experts provides end to end support from engineering concept all the way to up and commissioning.

Furthermore, we maintain ongoing relationships with these facilities, providing upgrades and technical support services. This demonstrates our deep technical understanding and expertise, as we continuously enhance the technology.
